Weight Loss At A Standstill

Ughhhhhhhh I am soo frustrated, I have lost 4 lbs total, aiming to lose another 5 pds. I am working out and truly watching what I eat. But the scale is at a standstill.. It is very frustrating, come on girls encourage me...lol does this happen to any of you?. Is it the age thingy where it doesn't come off as quickly? lol I work out 3 x a week for at least an hr.

You can do it!! Just keep at it and don't get frustrated and quit. I've heard that you should only weigh yourself once a week or something like that so that it feels like there is a bigger change rather than weighing yourself daily. Hope that helps! Good luck!

I know exactly what you mean Gina. I started at 238, got down to 224 stayed there for like 2 weeks then dropped down to 222 stayed there seems like forever, started eating light healthy snacks between meals and then dropped to 219. For some reason I'm up to 221. I think I need to drink more water. Don't get discouraged. I'm determined, as I know you are and it will come off.

Gina, that is so awesome about your work out schedule. I wish I could be as motivated as you and get out there and MOVE!!

Do you realize that by all your work outs, you are building muscle? That weighs more than fat. So you are indeed losing the fat but your weight will slow down a tad (or even stay level) while your muscle tone is increasing.

Don't give up....Keep going girl and all of a sudden one day you will look into that mirror and go "WOW!!"

You are doing GREAT!!
