How do u pick a DJ?
I am trying to book a DJ for my sister's BIG 40 but I don't know how to pick who is better? Prices are different too...

I personally would check out two or three at least and then ask for references. Then check out the references and from there make your decision.

How fun, a DJ! Maybe when you talk to each of them you can ask them questions. Like, "can you play all the music I want? Will you take requests from the guests at the party? What do you do to "liven" up the guests or get them to have fun? What sorta special things have you done at other booked engagements?" I dunno, stuff like that. Then just go w/ your gut feeling and pick the better of the two.
Good luck - It sounds like it's gonna be a blast!

I would suggest talking to a few Dj's before you make up your mind. If you are going with the 80's theme, ask them what music they will play, and judge from there. A good Dj will know exactly what to answer.
