help to remember

Is there a good (without nagging) way to help a man remember things they are notorious for forgetting such as birthdays, anniversaries, or chores they agreed to do?

You can try using simple Post-It Notes as a written reminder, start with two weeks out, then one week out, then three days til the event, then the day before. Yes, it may be a pain for you to have to actually remind a man about something important, but it is better to have them pay attention and remember it rather than forget it completely. It may also be healthy for your relationship too, as you do not want to be upset at your man for forgetting the event.

For task-oriented men, sometimes a To-Do list on the fridge or some place they see a lot can be helpful. Men can often find it satisfying to check off items they have completed. Do try to remember to not list 100 things on the list, try to list maybe 4 to 5 of the most important things first.

Thank you so much. That sounds so simple. It's amazing how when you are in the situation you forget the basics. . Thank you again & I hope you are enjoying being here.
