My Heartfelt Thanks!
I wanted to thank you all so much for your kind words over my loss of Teenah. Especially to Mandy, Angie, Traci, and Gina for their extra touches they gave during this very difficult time for me.
I have to say and have told many of you ladies that everything happens for a reason. Let me tell you my story why I say this... A while back a gentlemen got in contact w/ me wanting to buy Teenah. I explained that Teenah had been injured and in no way possible could I sell her to anybody. Well this man, named Jack had two weeks prior to me loosing Teenah lost his horse who looked identical to Teenah. Jack and I befriended through email and everyday he would ask me how Teenah was doing. During this time after telling him I could now never sell Teenah started looking horse sites to find Jack a horse. I found hundreds of walking horses I thought he would be interested in and forwarded him the information. Well, for some odd reason I came across a Quarter Horse, not even in the sites I looked under for gaited horses for Jack. But this is when I came across Bay. A 14 year old Gelding who seemed to just capture my heart. Not needing another horse like I need a hole in my head I went ahead and contacted the seller. I even went out and rode this horse for hours. I fell in love. I blew it off and told her that maybe I would bring my horse trainer out and have her look at him, etc. Well, 4 days later we lost Teenah. 3 days later the trainer and I went back to see Bay this Quarter Horse and she said he's a perfect match for me and I bought him. The next day I found someone wanting Wildflower my other horse who lives just 5 minutes from me and can visit her anytime. So, Wildflower has a new home. Teenah has a new home in heaven, and Bay has a new home with me. I can't tell you ladies what it is about this horse, but Bay clearly moves me. He is the gentlest horse who I can see special things in his eyes when he looks at me. It was like all along he was meant for me without me knowing all the pain I would soon be experiencing, but he was heal to help me through this. I'm telling you ladies, the universe works in mysterious ways. Anyway, Id like to introduce Bay to you. He is 16 hands and yes, I have to use something to get up on him because he's massive. But he's perfect by standing there until i do, and then we gently walk away. This guy is incredible and very very special to me already. It was all meant to be!! And I am in LOVE!!

Oh Sheryl he is beautiful. I'm so glad you found each other & a new friend as well. I don't know anything about horses so I'm assuming 16 hands means he is really tall . I'm glad Wildflower has a new home close to you as well. & I'm sure Teenah is watching over you very happy that your healing has begun. *hugs*

Sheryl, I'm so glad you've found a new equine friend.
I know how certain ones just touch your heart in ways you can't even explain. He's a nice looking boy! I love that QH dimple butt... lol When you're on one, you can just feel the power in those muscles. Good luck! I hope you have many years of enjoyment with him.

Wow Sheryl, he is GORGEOUS! I can see why you fell in love with him. I'm so glad you had Bay to help comfort you during this difficult time. He looks truly majestic and like a very gentle spirit. Congratulations!
My husband once owned a QH. His name was Coppertop, CT for short. He lost CT to a brain disease while we were engaged. He's actually quite lucky because CT threw him off one day before they found out he had a problem. He sprained his hand pretty badly, but it could've been a lot worse. He was just devastated when CT died. I would love to own a horse someday and I know Brendon would be thrilled if that ever happened so hearing about Bay is really exciting for me. Maybe someday we will own a QH as well. Anyway, he is beautiful and congratulations again.
