Plum wore out

I've had Paige since Wednesday and while I love her dearly, I swear that child simply wears me out. LOL She goes home again tomorrow evening, and while I will miss her once she's gone, I will also sigh and fall into bed for a nap. GOSH I wish I had half her energy!

I know how you feel. I dearly love my grandchildren, but I'm not used to their energy. It really gets on my nerves after a while and wears me out too. There's a reason why we're not suppose to have children late in life!!! Enjoy your rest, Tink.

ROFL Diana, you're SO right. I cannot understand women who CHOOSE to get pregnant at this age or later. There is absolutely no way I could handle a young child full time. I wouldn't even want to try.

LoL. I understand what you mean Tink. I absolutely adore my little sister and LOVE spending time with her, but I just feel exhausted when it's over. She spent the night with us not last night but the night before that and I kept her all day by myself yesterday while hubby was at work. I guess she's just at that age where she needs to be doing something with someone else to keep her occupied ALL the time. lol. I wouldn't trade my time with her for anything in the world though...

Anyway, I definitely hope you get that nap you mentioned. It sounds like you deserve it!

That's the joy of being a grandparent. You get to send them home and take a nap.
Remember that 60 year old who had twins? She must be nuts.
