Neighbor is out of jail.
Greg called yesterday and asked me to meet him in a nearby town to pick up a small side table he'd picked up for me so he wouldn't have to keep hauling it all week.
I got home about 4 pm and found a message from the sherriffs dept saying my neighbor was being released at 3. luckily I haven't seen a thing of him yet. Argggggggggg

Keep the phone handy in case he does come over and cause any trouble. More than likely he has other troubles to worry about and won't worry about the fence and his property. He's probably going to have it out with his wife. I wouldn't want to be in her shoes today. Stay safe!

Be careful Tink! I hope he doesn't try to cause any trouble...

vainchick5, it's quite a lengthy list... burglary, assault, battery, DUI, meth, etc. a couple of months ago he attempted suicide while on probation, so he was ordered to take meds, quit drinking, attend AA, and counseling. He hasn't done any of those according to his soon-to-be-ex wife. He has serious addiction and anger issues. He has threatened my husband over our lot line issues, so just last week we had a legal survey done that proved him wrong and shoved the line 53 feet closer to his house than he swore it should be.
He was out mowing his lawn today. He went only as far as our newly determined boundary line. I'm thinking he doesn't want to risk going back to jail for being a pita to me. I don't really care what holds him back as long as he leaves us alone. I got the survey papers including a detailed map today in the mail. It's interesting to study, and if he'd be civil, could be shared with the neighbor so he'd know where his lines should be as well.

Wow Tink, You and your husband are pretty brave. I don't know if I could handle living next door to a convict especially if he has threatened your husband in the past. Be careful.
