Mom's surgery
I just wanted to let everyone know that Mom's surgery today was a success! There was an 80% chance the port would work in the first place they tried, and it did! She's pretty sore and can't do any lifting at all so she's taking it easy today. I think the nurse convinced her to stay home from work tomorrow and possibly Friday as well which is great! She needs to rest. Anyway, I just wanted to keep you updated!

Angie, thank you for the update.
I'm so glad it was a succes, and yes she most definatly needs to rest, today, and tomorrow, and the whole weekend, if that is possible. YAYYYYYYYYYYYY Debbie!!!! You go girl.... you rock!!

Thanks for letting us know how your Mom's doing. She's been in my thoughts and prayers all day. I'm glad that everything went so well.
