I heard of this before, but can't remember where. I wonder what makes their locks better than the others? Life is getting harder by the minute.

Medeco and Schlage locks are seemingly the way to go. They're worth the cost.
I only have one door, but even if you have 2 or 3, they only cost about $150 each. It's a lot to lay out, but it beats being robbed. Thanks Sheryl!

We already have an alarm system. Yesterday he put in a peep hole through the door and now is adding the inside locks as you see in hotel rooms. A few weeks ago we had a situation that warranted calling 911. One man in a black hooded sweatshirt rang the door bell. Another man down at the end of our drive kinda acting like a "look out", then another man in a truck off our drive parked on the dirt road. Hubby walked out w/ his gun asking what he wanted. The one man said he needed gas. Of course hubby and I didn't believe it as that truck was running not to mention the position of the other two men and being late at night when this happened. Security felt threatened so we've been trying to add devices to make us feel more secure. We will be investing in a video camera device probably next month plus finish the wrought iron gate that will be locked across the drive. It's such an uneasy feeling when one cannot feel safe in their own home.

It sounds like it was a good thing that your husband was so observant!!!! I think that changing the locks to good ones would be a really good idea. I'm so glad that you weren't home alone!
