Eyebrows
I'm getting my eyebrows waxed for the first time on Thursday. I'm a little nervous about it.
Can anyone give me kind of an overview of what I can expect. My friend told me that it hurts like crazy the first time you have it done. Should I not be wearing make-up when i have it done? Or will that not matter at all? |

Make sure they put powder on before the wax, it provides a buffer between the wax and your skin.
I get my eyebrows threaded - it hurts the first time, but is easier after that, and I think it lasts longer. |

I get my eyebrows waxed, and it's no big deal. I guess it hurts a little, but it's not memorable at all at least for me. My skin is a little red for a while afterward. Makeup or no makeup doesn't matter.
I'm thinking of having electrolysis done so I don't have to keep getting it done. Wish you well.

You'll be OK Molly. It's not bad at all. I don't wear make-up when I go. Well definitely not mascara.
I wear waterproof mascara but when I get my eyebrows done they use some kind of lotion at the end to soothe the skin. Well it actually runs my mascara, then it gets in my eyes, then my contacts slip all over and I can't see to drive home! |

What is having eyebrows threaded? Never heard of that.
