Hi Ladies
I know I have been MIA for a while....
Our little rescue group has been very busy. We currently have 12 dogs in our rescue and have placed 9 in forever homes!!! Not bad for the short time that we have been open. OKYR We have one special needs dog who had liver shunt and are working hard to get him his surgery. We have one adorable little girl that is blind in one eye. We think we have found the perfect home for her. If everything works out right she will go home to her forevermom on Tuesday. We picked up a yorkie from a local shelter yesterday. He is so adorable, long beautiful hair, but he is so skinny, just bones and fur. We will get his picture posted to the web this weekend. He has to get some meat on those bones before he can go to a forever home. The hardest part is weeding through all of the adoption applications and finding the right forever home for each dog. We have to say no a lot. Any way, I just thought I would bring you up to date with what it going on. ps, I should tell you that people make me angry alot. I think I am getting to see the worst in some of them. |

It's good to hear from you, Michelle. I'd have a hard time working at a shelter!!! We'd have way too many dogs before long! It sounnds like a very rewarding job.

I feel the same as Diana, I just don't think I could do it. My heart would be broke all the time and I would want to bring them home. I'm glad they have someone like you that can do what's best for them.
