Help!!! Ink on leather :(
So last night I went out to buy a purse for the chocolate brown dress I'm wearing to my cousin's wedding next weekend. I found this super cute lime green leather bag that looks so good with the brown! I love it so much I brought it to work today. It's sitting beside me and I just noticed a long, dark blue mark right across the front. INK! I don't know if it was there last night and I didn't notice, but I didn't have it near a pen at all
 Maybe it was there when I got it. Is there any way I can get rid of the ink without ruining the leather? It's shiny leather so I'm sure it has some protective coating, but every hint or tip I've found online says that ink will dissolve with hairspray, nail polish remover, or rubbing alcohol. I'm just worried they might ruin the leather Can anyone help?

I don't know if it will ruin it or not but.. have you tried the magic eraser. You just get it wet and scrub it. Just be very careful not to scrub to hard in case it takes some of the green color off. Hope it works!

someone suggested that on a website too. I think I have one at home still, I might have to give it a try when I get home from work

I think that I'd take it back to the store and exchange it. You might ruin it by trying to clean it with something.
