Time alone

I just wish I could spend a whole day alone. I really think I need to just regroup and spend a day on myself.
I've been really annoyed lately, with everything and everyone. One of my friends and I are really really enjoying the pole dancing thing, but the other two girls aren't so into it. Last night I told my friend I've decided I would like to take Stage 2 even though we'll miss some classes for new york, so would she like to still go with me? She said she was already signed up... she convinced one of the other girls to take it again with her... and I said oh okay but in my head I thought hey, what about me? Why didn't you ask me? So I went to sign up on my own and the classes are FULL. It's not a huge deal, I know, but I feel a little left out that she would want to go with someone who doesn't even enjoy it, instead of asking me.
Work has also been really annoying. There is so much drama here.
I've just been in a bad mood lately and I'm getting sick and I almost feel like I will explode at any second... BUT this weekend, my roommate is leaving for a week, and hopefully my brother is going hunting so I can get the house to myself. Just me and Layla. I can't wait to relax!

I know exactly what you mean!!! I've been crabby and gripey too, the past few days and I don't know why. I wonder if your bad mood has been picked up by your friend and that is why she asked the other girl to sign up with her. Whatever the reason, it wasn't considerate of her to not ask you too.

I hope you get refreshed and renewed by some alone time - I know that I enjoy being alone also!

There must be something in the air for sure Lindsey. I think everyone is down about something, or crabby, just something, ya know.

I love my time alone...it really does let you regroup.

I wouldn't worry about why she asked someone else. Maybe you were just way better at it than her.......her problem. There will surely be more classes in the future and you've already got one under your belt...so to speak...lol.

Maybe it's just this time of year. It's getting dark so early and staying dark so late... it's been really hard to pull myself out of bed in the morning.
And I've been telling myself that I just look way better on that pole and they don't want to look bad beside me haha but it did open my eyes to other options, and I looked around today and found this cardio class that's all dancing and it's females only... it's called "Cardio Tease & Tone" so I think it's the same kind of idea but without the pole haha. It's a drop-in class so I might go check it out after this session of pole dancing is done. I just feel embarassed to walk into a class like that alone, without my friends beside me! Oh well, gotta step out of that comfort zone sometimes!
Ahh... just one more day of dealing with people and then it's the weekend!

You can go it alone. I did. I really wanted to take a bodypump class & no one would go with me. I even begged my husband to go with me & wait for me in the car. But I got up the courage & finally went & it happened that I knew a girl in the class & she helped me get situated. Just look at it this way, it should be a good way to make new friends.

Lindsey...don't wait on anyone...you just go do whatever you want to do and enjoy yourself. I just know you will be able to do and have fun doing it, whatever to set your mind to.
