Just had to share this. It is published in the December 2008 "Reader's Digest". Title of the article is Do You Hear What I Hear, Gather round the ol' iPod and sing our updated carols by Lenore Skenazy.

Hark! The Hairy Angels Sing
(To "Hark! The Herald Angel's Sing")

"Bark!" the Labradoodles sing.
"Look at us, the latest thing.
Curly hair and tempers mild,
Big and small dog reconciled."
"Don't forget us!" call the puggles.
Shorkies yap, "We're best for snuggles."
"Wait a sec!" the mutts proclaim.
"neath our fur, we're all the same.
Hark! Tho' woundrous breeds abound,
Don't forsake the local pound."

Couldn't resist since it was about our beloved dogs, and the Labradoodle part made me think of our dear Tink who is busy elsewhere and very much missed here!!

I went to an ornament exchange party yesterday where people brought international foods and someone had brought a Scandanavian chocolate treat from a friend in Minnesota and it made me think of our Scandanivan friend, Tink in Wisconsin.

Sure do miss her here. If anyone still has contact with her, please say "Hi" for me.
