Birth Control?

I just switched from Yaz to Seasonique & was curious is anyone else has had any experience with this pill. I went to a gyno because I started getting severe PMS, the week before my period & the week of my period I was miserable. She put me on Yaz which is supposed to help. She told me I could take it continuously 3 months at a time which I did. And I really liked not having a period every month. So I went to my regular doctor & he expressed concern about Yaz because it affects your potassium level & wanted me to use Seasonique. Now I'm doing some research & probably making myself nervous over nothing, but I just wanted to know if anyone had any experiences. My doctor was has a degree in pharmacee as well & I trust he wouldn't knowingly give me anything harmful.

Sorry but I'm past that age. I wish that I had something to help you with. My tubes are tied. I could never take birth control pills.

Sorry, I don't have any advice since I've never used either. Did he give you any other options? I'm on Ortho-Tricyclen Lo.

I was on Ortho-Tricyclen forever & then started getting really bad PMS. Since I like the period only 3 month thing my doctor thought seasonique was better than Yaz.
