Dragon Boat races
Lindsay, they had dragon boat races in Austin today! We have a river that runs right through downtown and I saw pictures of the boats on the news - really cool boats!

That's really awesome Gayle! My company is putting in a team this year too, you just reminded me I still need to sign up!
Dragon boats are really long boats (sometimes with dragon heads on one side), and there are people sitting in pairs rowing. Here are some pictures from our dragon boat festival last year http://www.4womentalk.com/forums/sho...t=dragon+boats

I bet that the boats and the races were interesting!! I've never heard of any around here!!
