More Rain.....
The last several days we've had rain with storms coming at night but we've only had about 2-3 inches. The river's been running high but not any major flooding but today we've already had 2 huge downpours and a line of storms that's running right up our way. We also have rain predictions for the next 10 days!! At the rate it's coming we'll be flooding so we're keeping an eye on the river, not that the house is in any danger, but we have equipment that will need to be moved. (And I don't mean flooding like we had a couple of years ago either.)
My husband is pretty bummed about it because he has crops that need to be planted and ground that needs to be worked. It's seemed like the last several years we get almost all of our rain in the springtime and it makes the farmers behind in their work. This is not a normal weather pattern for us. I wish that I could package this up and just send it to you guys who need it.

I don't want or need any of your overage. We've had 11.5" in the last week or so. The garden is drowning, but the grass is beautiful!

We've had rain here too. I'm tired of rain and mud and gravel roads. It's been misty most of today but there is rain in the forecast.

I told Glen just a while ago that we needed to start packaging water and sending it to Texas and he informed me that Houston already had more than enough. I hope that you're not having any problems from it, Sandy.

Houston, we have a problem......(Apollo 13) but Austin does not, so we'll take all the "packaged" water you can send!
