Are you an optimist or a pessimist?
I've come to realize over the past few months, that I really am an optimist...for the most part. I will worry and stress WAY too much, but once a decision is made, I am generally happy even if it isn't necessarily what I wanted at first. My internship is one example. I really wanted an internship at the VA, and I was really worried about my future when I didn't get it, but as soon as I interviewed for the in-home therapist position, I knew it would be a great place to work. I was instantly just as excited about this new opportunity as I was about the VA...maybe even more so. I feel like I am discovering myself more and more every day because of all the new challenges before me. It's a great feeling to be not only content, but excited about the future.
So which are you? Optimist or pessimist?

I am an optomist. I think a lot of it is a choice. You can see the glass either half empty or half full. Might as well see it half full.
As a matter of fact, why only half full? How about 3/4?

I am such an optimist! I see no reason to make a worst case scenario out of everything. I also believe that everything happens for a reason. We might not have a clue what the reason is, or agree with it... but I've found out through the years that if I have the right attitude, things turn out fine. You know the old saying..."Make the best of what you've got" Bad grammar, lol, but that's how we say it down here
I'm so glad you're excited about your internship!! It feel so good to feel so good

Judy and Besti, I completely agree. I think it's all about making a choice to be happy with what you have. 3/4 full sounds great to me! LOL
