Pretty red bud trees in bloom
I just had to stop and take some pix of the red buds - they are gorgeous this year.

The trees are really pretty, we also have some flowering cherry blossom trees right outside our house across the street, but there is no sign of flowers yet, i will post some pictures when they come into bloom. I just love the spring-time, the beautiful sunny days without the heat are just perfect for me - i dont do well with the heat!!!!!!

Oh Gayle...they trees are so colorful!!! I wish we had some color around here. Still pretty bare and muddy looking around here. The grass is getting greener and there are a few tiny buds on the trees so hopefully it won't be too long. Next week is suppose to be so much warmer so looking forward to that.

Oh what beautiful color you are getting to see already! I can't wait for the blooming trees and flowers to start showing color! Thanks so much for sharing the beauty Gayle! You all must be a few weeks ahead of us here in Ky.

Hey Gayle...my son Michael JUST called and asked me what those purple blooming trees were. I told him they were red buds, and he said "Haha Rachel, I TOLD you they were red buds!!" She thought he was wrong because the blooms are purple, LOLOL!!!! My "grown" kids that have lived in Texas all of their lives..
