Spring!
I think it's finally here! It's still freezing at night, but the sun is shining during the day and we're getting close to 10 degrees C during the day (50 F)! Last night we took Layla for her first walk around town since last year. She ran through all the puddles and explored the snowy yard. Her feet and little pink shirt were pretty muddy so she went straight in the bath when we got inside, and we both fell asleep together on the couch
Another sign of spring is that there are some motorcycles out! I saw one downtown last week and another girl riding one yesterday on our way home from work. We are selling our bikes ASAP, so we're trying to get them listed soon. I was having battery issues though Scott was out in the garage working on it last night and went to bed pretty frustrated. Keep your fingers crossed we can get it started tonight! We really need to sell them before Europe. I just feel so happy with the weather changing now! It's still pretty snowy and there are flood worries everywhere so I don't want the snow to melt too quickly, but the weather is so nice!

We're seeing signs of spring here too finally. Only thing....with these warmer temps...the rains come.

We've been having some really warm days but then we'll drop down to almost freezing. We're having rain on the weekend and already there's warnings about bad weather. Living in Kansas we always keep an eye on the weather. You just never know when something really bad could pop up.
Lindsey, you talked about Layla "running". Is she doing that much better now? We haven't had an update about her for some time. It sounds like she's doing great!!! |

Well, she's in her cart so her running is more like really fast walking lol. She doesn't leap like she used to, but she still zooms around with a big doggy smile on her face lol! I thought I should have taken my camera for that walk! I'll try to remember the next time and post a video
I hope you're not going to Oz anytime soon We tend to get tornadoes in late summer here. Usually there's not much damage because the province is so spread out that they normally just touch down in open fields. There was one at my lake a few years ago and somebody took pictures. It was pulling up the water! It looked pretty cool! We still have a couple feet of snow in our yard. Our back alley is totally flooded and some of the neighborhood men were out last night digging a little channel to try to drain it, but it's not working. The ground everywhere is so saturated that it looks like the rest of the spring melt will be surface runoff There's huge concerns about flooding all over the province.

It's pretty soggy here, but the temp today way 72 degrees...yay!!!! Suppose to get up to 80 degrees on Sunday I think it is, but with storms and rain. I can take the rain....I may just clean out the garage...lol. Inside.....but still kind of outside. Once I get the garage cleaned out....I'll start in on the house and closets.
