Trying Again....and again...
I've been using the program on MyFitnessPal.com. It has a lot of food items already in it's database so I'm just counting calories. I do watch the fat, sugar etc, and if it's too much of course I say "Janet...do you want to be thinner?" and I put it back......lolol
It will also keep track of your exercise and will tell you when you should be at your goal. It really is a very simple program and I also have it on my iPad2. So far I've lost about 6 lbs, but it's going to be quite some time before I will show any weightloss. I just hate walking by a mirror. Such a big stomach and back end!!! Anyway, I'm eating more fruits and veggies and less of the bad stuff . Hopefully I'll reach my goal weight by 2050....

Oh YEAH, Janet!!! You can do anything that you set your mind to do......you've proved that in the past!!!........and before 2050!!! I'm so proud of you!!
We've had a really hard time getting back on our diet since Christmas. Not that we've gone off of the deep end or anything but it's just so easy to cheat......and all those cheats add up. Amy has gotten serious and has lost another 3 pounds and has lost almost 50 pounds!! Dae Lynn has lost ove 40 and I've lost 25 still. I had lost almost 30 but I've gained a little back but with the girls losing it's really giving me some motivation. When I start swimming this summer and get more active then I know that I'll lose more!! Janet, find you a partner or someone you can walk or exercise with and that will help!! You're so good at meeting your goals and I know that you can do this one. Just make small goals......not one huge one!!

Thank you so much for the support. I so appreciate it. I am taking one afternoon and driving to a girlfriends house 30 minutes from home and we are going to walk. She's trying to lose also so we've been encouraging each other. She's the friend from school who's mother is in a nursing home.
I really couldn't do the diet you and the girls are on. I can't leave out a lot of the things I like and for as big as I am, I don't like a lot of things. Counting calories and walking will probably do better for me. We'll see anyway. I wish I would have started sooner.....hey..I did..a million times....LOLOL

Good for you Janet. Were all very proud of you.
I don't know how much you use ground beef but I found an imitation that taste exactly like ground beef that can help with your diet. http://www.yvesveggie.com/products/d...round-original I have tried other meats but this is my favorite. Good luck on your diet. |

Thanks Jess, I'll have to see if I can find it. Would they have it at Wal Mart?

I have not seen it at Walmart. I get it either at Whole Food Market or Kroger. Theirs also a Soyrizo (mexican imitation sausage) at HEB.
So far those are the only meats I say I like. |
