Yes. I have had breast augmentation twice. A piece of advise I can give is "DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!"
The first time was awful - I didn't do my homework/research and I suffered from it. The second time has been a positive experience and I have no regrets. If I had the funds I would get lypo on my tummy and bottom half in a heart beat! I doubt id ever have anything done on my face as that makes me too nervous. It's just very difficult watching what the aging years is doing to my body. UGH! |

thanks river mom...i have done alot of research on breast aug. and i have my doc. picked out-he is the craniofacial specialist who did reconstructive work on my daughter.anyway he is expensive though. there is another doc. that is closer to my hometown and he is about 1500$ cheaper but i am thinking i would rather go with the doc that i know and trust even though he is four hours away from my hometown. is it too personal for you to tell me what size you went with? my hubby wants me to have a full D but i only weigh 105 and am 5'3..i'm scared that will make me too top-heavy for my frame plus i'd be scared i'd be knocking stuff over with them!

Your body size is very small so i honestly feel a "D" size would be too large. You have to remember also...The weight of your "new twins". The heavier they are the more chances they will sag. I dealt with this my first go around. I had a size D (not by my choice but the doctor's) and they were not implanted under the muscle which they SHOULD be. So within a year I had HUGE saggy "D's". Now I am a full C and happy. This time around the implants were placed within the muscle, huge difference! I am 5'7 and 140 lbs. Also, when I had the size "D's" it's like they were not part of me, it's hard to explain. All people could see were THEM, I became very insecure, not to mention they didn't flow w/ the rest of my body. I also started dealing w/ neck and back pain because the twins were just TOO DARN BIG. IMO you would be fine w/ a full C. Also, from my dealings with plenty of doctors most for some odd reason always want to make the "twins" very large. Don't let them talk you into this. Make sure you explain that you want the size to match your body. In reference to cost, if you find that you totally can trust your doctor and have excellent communication it is worth the extra cost. This type of surgery is really not something you'd want to cut corners with. Your body, health, and your peace of mind is worth every penny. Good Luck! |

Breasts were done in 2001. I went from an "A" to a full "C", small "D". They went through my arm pits and left the breasts untouched. VERY painful. I think I was on everything but Morphine. Had a "Valium Cocktail" right before surgery and lost 3 days. Could not remember ANYTHING. REally strange.
I bruised pretty badly and it took MONTHS for me to not have that "fire shooting out of my nipples" sensation. I have an area about the size of a quarter under each breast that is completely numb. Doctor said they don't damage nerve endings...just bruise them but heck after 5 years, you'd think the bruised endings would have healed. Looking back, I would have gotten a small "C". I get back aches now every once in a while...but I love them! |

oh my...i've never heard of fire from the nipples...ouchie!!! i've heard of numbness and problems breastfeeding-but i've already had my babies and now have my tubes tied so don't have to worry about that anymore. i am wanting to go to a full "c" myself.....i think my hubby is just boobie-crazy which baffles me to no end why he ended up marrying me the flat- as- wood self. i live in a small town and am kind of nervous because everybody will know i had them done...if you sneeze people on the other side of town say bless you that's how small our town is!!! other than the stuff mentioned before ya'll have had no problems? my mom is against it, she says I don't need them-with her DD self!!! everybody on both sides of my family have huge ones so i feel left out boo-hoo! i'm scared my mil will never speak to me again if i get them because she always says to fix the house or buy another car, etc.,etc. but when do i get to fix me? my hubby says to get them done and he will deal with her....i'm not sure if i will get them done in the next few months but hopefully by this time next year i will have them finally!!! i have been planning on getting them and have money saved up but always have to use it for something else like paying bills or x-mas or birthday presents etc.

As soon as I finish paying off the credit cards (year or so), I plan on getting a set of hooters! I'm a B cup, so there's something there, but I'd like to be a good D. Hubby always argues with me, says I want it so more guys will look at me, so NOT true. I think bigger boobs would just help balance out the rest of me!
