I'm not feeling well at all...should I go home?

I had to leave work yesterday at 2:30 because I felt so badly. I felt better when I woke up this morning, but now I feel crappy again. My head aches so badly that I honestly cannot function!!!! Should I leave and go home? I've only been here for 30 minutes! I do have sick days left that I can use. What would you do?

I would definitely GO HOME and take some meds and rest! You don't want to be sick over Christmas....tell them "BYE."

Well, I emailed my boss this morning and I said, "I'm here this morning! My dr. called me in some meds yesterday so I feel better." But that was when I really DID feel better! But now I don't! How will I explain that?

Just tell him that you still aren't feeling good and that the meds just haven't taken affect yet. Tell him that you would feel much better lying down than sitting up with such a bad headache and that you are going home......then GO HOME!!!

I agree.. tell him you thought you were over it but your not.. let him know you will probably have to go back to thr Dr. and get rechecked....

Just tell him that you thought you were better but you're not and go on home and take care of yourself. You don't want to spread what you have to anyone else so that they'll have it during the holidays. So go on home!!!!!

sweetie - go home if you can - your body is telling you something .....take it easy and drink lots of Vitamin C. we all have busy days ahead and you don't want to be sick during Christmas. I hope you feel better !! I can tell just by your post that you really may be sick and the flu is going around and you don't want that !!

Thanks, V!!!! I was feeling SO bad yesterday! I did tell them that I needed to go home and I did. I slept pretty much the whole day yesterday. I feel alot better today! I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon and I will probably go back to work 2morrow.
