Snowy
So how is the weather where you are? I live in NE Indiana and we are getting a very pretty fine snow. I know central Indiana is getting hit pretty good.
We are only suppose to get about an inch. My hubby left this afternoon for Iowa. I talked to him a couple of hours ago. They turned around and are coming back home. The roads are really bad I guess. They have shut down the main interstate that comes though my county because of all the wrecks. It's also -4 degrees out right now. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

It's cold and snowing here too. Hubby just called and said he'd made it back through indiana and Illinois, so is headed across Wisconsin to Minnesota tonight. He heads to Missouri tomorrow.
He lucked out and got around the Chicago area without mishap. He did say there were some pile ups in that area with the nasty weather making the roads a mess. I've learned not to worry about him in winter weather 'cause I believe he's wise enough to know when to just park it and wait it out. He's not one of those cowboy types who breezes past cars and ends up dirty-side up in the median. Driving a semi, he says it's too easy to cause an accident if you don't use your head. I'm glad your hubby is taking the safe route as well.

We got about 5.2 inches when all was said and done with. It was a mess going to school to pick the kids up. Hwy 29, you couldn't tell if you were on the road or not. Once I got back out in the county, it was better..still snow, but safer. There were at times, near white-out conditions. It took me an extra 17 minutes to run my route. Not too bad.

I don't mind the snow, but I'm getting really tired of the mush! We had some rain this morning and now the mush is worse than ever. My Tahoe looks absolutely awful! It needs to be washed and I was waiting for the ice to melt off of my driveway but now everything is back to mush!!!

Tonight and tomorrow we are suppose to get up to 14 inches, maybe more. I'm not thrilled. I love being at home...but I don't like being STUCK at home. Hopefully we won't lose power. We do have a generator, but not sure if it would be hard on my computer or not. What good is it to be home, if I can't get on the computer...LOLOLOL
