Hi Cerise, and welcome!
First of all i want you to know, that your question is not stupid at all, you great for asking. I take it this is your first year of middle school? See, kids change when they go to middle school, friends that used to be close, often go seperate ways, try not to take it too personally. You go out there girl, and you make your own group of friends to hang out with. My son is 2 years older than you, all of he's friends have changed, includng him. Its ok, it will get easier, just be yourself.

First off sweetie, there are no stupid questions, okay?
Next, when young people spend their grade school years together, they become so close (some of the parents do too.) Most have been together from K through 6th grade. Then when middle school gets here, there are soooo many new people and sooo many new friends to make. It happens again in high school. My advice is to get out there, get involved. Even if you are shy, push yourself to join clubs, make new friends. Although it can be a scary time for some, it can be a whole new wonderous adventure. I keep telling my son, to get out there and do all that you can do, once these years are over....they never come back. So get out there and be the best you can be and enjoy this great time in your life. I wish you the best.
