Something So Beautiful !
It's been a week since it happened but I haven't stopped thinking about it and wanted to share with you all.
Last week my husband and I were just relaxing on our back deck. We sat and chatted for a bit, relaxed in the hot tub, and just enjoyed the night. Shortly afterwards my hubby put in some cd's of music we used to listen to after first meeting many years ago. Listening to the music, slow dancing on the deck brought back such memories I swear I was floating while dancing with him. Anway my husband asked a question that has stuck in my mind ever since last weekend. As we were dancing, he pulled back, looked at me, and then asked..."Honey, do I still stir your soul"? I think I shocked him by my look and just staring at him. Being sooo in a moment of such love it took me a moment to respond to his question. "Of course you do and I wish I could tell you just how much you do", I answered back. "Stir my soul"....Those three little words made my night and days since. I write poetry and I am definitley going to have to sit and write a poem about this. I hope I never forget that night.

That's so sweet Sheryl!
I love when married couples have those moments. It makes all those tougher times worthwhile.

Sheryl, that's so sweet and wonderful! Times like that are what makes life worth living. Sounds like you have an incredible hubby.
If you write that poem, we would love to see it if you are willing to share it with us!

That's interesting you ask that Traci. Because normally no he doesn't. This is why I was so shocked by his use of words. I mean I can see me saying something along those lines asking him but for him to ask me I was like "WOW!". He's great at saying he loves me, and asks me every single day how I slept the night before, you know simple things like that. But "stir my soul" was over the top for me. Oh and Angie, yes when I finish the poem (haven't even started yet) I will share it. Do any of you ladies write poetry? My mind at times can be "waaayyyyy out there" ( I know, none of you are surprised) so writing helps me express what seems to be etched inside me that I would never be able to express verbally. My "communication" skills stink - LOL.
