Bob Greene
I saw a repeat of Oprah with Bob Greene on. I think I'll buy his book, Lord knows I've tried all the other diets and nothing is working. I'm really getting depressed about my weight...I'm failing miserably.
When Lynne and I went to pick up Fancy, of course we took pictures and to see myself just about made me sick. Thank God none of them had my stomach in them, but seeing how big my upper arms are just about grossed me out. I've got to get busy or I'll be beyond the point of no return.

I started a diet a while back. I haven't lost anything, but I've started walking to the end of the driveway. (It's not too bad going down, but coming back to the house is about 1/4 mi. all uphill!!!)
I haven't heard of Bob Greene. Is he someone who has helped Oprah?

Yes Diana, he is Oprah's personal trainer and neighbor. He has the book "The Best Life Diet." Just watching the show again, makes me want to try again at the weightloss game.
Marilyn, I didn't join WW's but had been following it pretty good. I lost some weight with it, but then it got old...like all other diets. I don't care for a lot of foods and my biggest fall back is I don't like cooking. I think I could lose so much weight if I had a chef.....ROFLMAO!!!! I like most veggies, but have a hard time with fruits...I only like apples and bananas. I love orange juice, but hate oranges or their smell when you open them up. Most recipes have tomatoes on or in them and I don't care for those either. Hard to lose when I'm so picky. Sure wish there was a pizza and chocolate diet....LOLOL

We went out to Red Lobster last night. The meal was so good and I ate every morsel there was. Today....I feel horrible. My stomach feels like it is an entity all by itself...just stuck on my body. I don't know why I do this to myself. I did get down to 218 I think it was, but I've gained 11 lbs back..you do the math. Makes be sick to think about typing it out. I've got to do something and I know it. I'm 52 years old and it's not getting any easier to lose. Why did I let this happen to myself....I'm so discouraged.
I know most of the times I make up excuses...don't like to cook, don't like being out in the humidity, not enough time...etc..etc. As bad as I feel, why can't I get myself motiviated!
