Do you know what this is?

I found a BEAUTIFUL HUGE wall hanging at our Pier One...thing is, it's $800 but man oh man it's gorgeous! ANYWHO, I KNOW that I could make one of these myself.

I've seen them before but don't know if they have a specific name to them...therefore, can't even find a picture to show you. BUT, the art itself looks almost like assorted pattern/color crushed tissue paper that has been glued down. Sometimes, you seee gold or silver thread that is layed down to give accent.

Does ANYONE know what I'm talking about?

I have not a clue what you are talking about, LOL. But, if it's at Pier One I am sure it's absolutely gorgeous! I LOVE that store and most of my home decorations are from there.

If you find a picture I hope you share it with us all.

Can you look for them online, get some different idea's and make your own. It would probably be even nicer if you do it yourself

You have me curious... What is the paper glued to? Is it on a canvas or more like paper mache? Now I'm going to have to stop in at Pier 1 and check it out.

There is a Pier 1 next door to one of the stops on my agenda today, so I'll go in and look around.

Also, we have a Pier 1 Outlet store about a half hour away that has some great discounts!!
