Nail Polish

Any one have any advice on how to get Polished nails that last a long time with out chipping or peeling? I have really nice natural nails so I usually paint them at home. I use a color stay undercoat & fast dry top coat. & I find withing a few days my nail polish being to chip & peel. Does anyone have any recommendations?

My mom has the most beautiful natural, hard, long nails. Unfortunately I did not inherit that gene But I know she uses this stuff on top of her polish and it makes her polish last a long time.

I know it says it is a "strengthener" but it obviously protects, too, because my mom's polish always stays on.

I don't know if what I heard is true or not. But I was told that it isn't one type of polish verses another that aids in chipping. It has to do with the natural oils in your nail that breaks down the polish which in return makes the polish chip or where off faster/easier.

Who knows...I at times can be such a sucker that I believe almost everything I hear. LOL

I've heard that too Rivermom! My polish, when I use it, doesn't flake or peel, but starts wearing thin on the ends.

Avon makes a great new product peel on nails. It works wonders. No mess no topcoat just peel them and put them on. They have lasted on my nails for about 2 weeks. and i do dishes everyday. Just a thought.
