Best crockpot?
I asked this on another site where Angie and I met but I didn't get a definitive answer. So is there a particular brand of crockpot I should get for my son or any features that you just love in the one you have? He makes hearty soups.

Most crock pots these days are worthy. It depends on how large the crock he would like to have. Another great feature is finding one that has a removable crock, a self-timer/shut off, etc.
I recently purchased one by the name of Westbend. It works for all my needs.

I saw that a lot don't have the timer and I thought that would be quite helpful . He makes large batches so I was thinking 6 qt.
