I'm sure frozen spinach is safe. Frozen spinach is already cooked and all you have to do is dethaw it. If it wasn't safe, we would have already heard about it.

Yum!!!! I LOVE Spinach Dip! My fave! Yes, I am sure it is safe. They are saying that they think the ecoli outbreak is from contaminated water in California that was used on the spinach before it was bagged.

Oh, I have a really good Spinach Dip recipe.

1 package frozen spinach
1 envelope Knorr's Vegetable Soup Mix
8 oz sour cream
8 oz mayo
1 can chopped water chesnuts

1. Dethaw spinach in microwave. Get LOTS of paper towels and press spinach until it is as dry as you can get it.
2. Drain water chesnuts by pouring out juice and putting the water chestnuts on a paper towel to dry out.
3. Combine spinach with the rest of the ingredients.
4. Refrigerate for awhile.
5. Enjoy with your favorite crackers or my favorite...Fritos Scoops!
