This will cost him some votes!
Before beginning the drive, Mitt Romney put Seamus, the family's hulking Irish setter, in a dog carrier and attached it to the station wagon's roof rack. He'd built a windshield for the carrier, to make the ride more comfortable for the dog.
As the oldest son, Tagg Romney commandeered the way-back of the wagon, keeping his eyes fixed out the rear window, where he glimpsed the first sign of trouble. ''Dad!'' he yelled. ''Gross!'' A brown liquid was dripping down the back window, payback from an Irish setter who'd been riding on the roof in the wind for hours. As the rest of the boys joined in the howls of disgust, Romney coolly pulled off the highway and into a service station. There, he borrowed a hose, washed down Seamus and the car, then hopped back onto the highway. It was a tiny preview of a trait he would grow famous for in business: emotion-free crisis management. This story was confirmed as true by Snopes.com.

I do hear more and more people talking about Huckabee. But you're right Marilyn, as of yet.. there isn't a good clear choice.

Ewwww! I don't like him anymore. I wasn't going to vote for him, but thought he was a nice enough man. Wrong!

Tell me more. I don't usually talk politics, but I didn't think most people liked him...now all of a sudden, I'm hearing his name more and more. I do hope when people vote...they vote for the best person to do the job...not vote for someone to keep someone else from getting it. Does that make sense?

Definitely makes sense! I've looked up each candidate, read through his or her stand on the issues and made up my mind.
At this point politically, I'm much more interested in the issues the country is having than in my own personal likes or dislikes, or which party a candidate belongs to. If it was based on a personal like or dislike, or even approval or not of certain things, I think George W. is probably a very nice guy, and I really like his wife. I just don't like what he's doing with certain issues.

By the way, I don't like Romney at all. He has been my least favorite candidate since the beginning. Well, maybe he and Hilary are tied for my least favorite, but something about him just doesn't fall well with me. He may be dropping out today. We can only hope! If he does drop out, Huckabee will have a much better chance.
