My thoughts
strongly yearning, heart burning
for something to change in a troubled world where voices remain unheard nothing more than soft whispers in a whirlwind of fear and shame and doubt. struggling to be noticed among the others speaking truth wanting peace hoping for change but controlling nothing ---too many voices, and mine, Mine is lost in the crowd

Angie, what a sweet poem. I think that is how so many of us feel, as though our voices are lost in the crowd. Thank goodness that God can hear us no matter who else is talking!!! Thanks for sharing!!

I'm glad you guys liked it! I had a hard time deciding whether or not I should post it, but now I'm happy that I did.
 Janet, I wrote it yesterday mostly during class. I just couldn't concentrate because all those thoughts were going through my head, so I started writing. (I know, I'm a bad student, lol!) I had to stop half way through because we ended up doing an in class activity so I finished it last night before bed.
