In God We Trust!
 I received an e-mail today telling me about the removal of "In God We Trust"from the "new" $1.00 coin. After I read it  I immediately got online to research this. Here are the facts:http://www.snopes.com/politics/religion/dollarcoin.asp

I received the same e-mail and our daughter who is a bank teller cleared that one up for us. She says people who have received the e-mail come into the bank all the time asking about the $1.00 coin, so they straighten them out, nicely, of course.

I had an e-mail about this too and was glad to hear that "In God We Trust" is still on the coin, just on the side. What a funny place to put it!

I don't think a dollar coin will be used much anyway. We used to ahve silver dollars, there are (or were?) 50 cent coins, that Susan B. Anthony coin - maybe it was a $2.00 coin?
I'm not comfortable with anything bigger than a quarter because I'm afraid I'll give $1.00 coin instead of a quarter. I like my dollars in paper, what can I tell you? "In God We Trust" belongs on my money. I'm glad you looked that up Kathy.
