My New Stove

It was definitely time to change to a new stove. The old one had a bad touch pad and we had to plug it in and out when we wanted to use the oven and light the burners with a lighter. After I cleaned the oven a while back the oven wasn't cooking right so I said, Enough is enough!!!! And so I got a new stove. I also told myself that I didn't have to have two ovens or a top of the line stove, but all of that went right out the window when I started looking at all of the features!!! It has the two ovens and one of them is a convection oven so that will be interesting to use. Also I've never had the glass top so I'm hoping that it will be easy to keep clean! Anyway, here it is-----

So - what are you going to cook as your first meal? It should be something very exciting and exotic to break in the new oven!!

Diana, I love it. I wish I had a double oven. I may have to bring my Thanksgiving dinner over to your house to cook!

Diana,
I haven't seen so many buttons on anything since the last time I was on an airplane and took a peek inside the cockkpit.
I got intiminated just looking at all those buttons
Seriously, it is gorgeous and I like your kitchen too
(How long did it take you to read the instruction manual for that puppy?)

While my daughter, Dae Lynn, was here yesterday she tried a new cake recipe out in it! Right now I have a roast cooking for supper.

Yes, there are a LOT of buttons. The buttons on the left side run the top oven and the buttons on the right run the bottom oven and the ovens can do different things! As far as reading the manual.....I'm sure that it's going to have to be looked at everytime I bake something for quite a while. I'll probably have to laminate the manual!!! I have a feeling that it's going to be used a LOT!!!!! (Kat, I'll let you know if it ever tells me that it's ready for take-off!!!)

Oh Diana, how nice!
I have a smooth top range but only a single oven. I love the smooth top as it's so nice to clean up. I'd like the second oven too I think...

I hope you get to enjoy it for MANY years.

Wow!! I hadn't seen one with two ovens!! That's really nice. I have two ovens, but one is a wall oven and the other is in the stove. Yours is much better utilization of space!! Hope you enjoy this for very many years!!!

The one that I used to use is in the basement along with an old green vinyl covered couch. I suppose that you could have them but you'll have to cough up some money to get my good stove and couch!!!!! And I live in Kansas!!!

You have a nice home too, Janet! You silly girl!!!

I waited too long to get my home and I put a lot of thought on the floor plan so to get me out you're going to need a lot of help and a crowbar!!!!!

We tried to put a lot of thought in our home when we built it, but we were way too young and didn't have enough married life to know what we truely wanted and needed. Sure wish we would have waited just a little while longer...but I do love my home for the most part.
