So, what's your occupation?
Me - I'm the Medical Records Manager for a Long Term Acute Care Hospital. I am the only one in the department and am responsible for all the coding, charts, you name it - if it involves medical records, I do it! I do have someone from HR who helps me part time when her job duties will allow her time over here. I have never done medical coding prior to this job (but have a history in medical records and working in the hospital setting) and I absolutely love it! I find it very interested reading some of the different illnesses our patients have, their medical histories, and so forth.
So - what do you do?

I have a very boring job! I work for my mom, she owns a cultured marble company! So I sit in this office all day long and do pretty much nothing. The days feel like weeks! But the best part is, I get to spend my days on here bc my mom doesnt care! LOL

I am a Billing Analyst for Verizon Business, no....... MCI, no..... WorldCom, no.....LDDS. LOL They have changed the name so many times in the last 11 years it almost a joke. But I love my job, not so happy with the company though. I have never worked for a large company before and it has really been an eye opening experience. I owned 3 pet shops and groomed dogs fro 25 years. Made a great living and raised my 2 girls. I thought this would be a nice change. Now I'm just waiting for retirement to come. 4 more years........yea!

And I thought I had a lot of kids..... I have a 72 seater bus (that's 3 in every seat) but have 93 kids assigned to ride it. Some of the high schoolers have their license and some of the parents take their kids, others are at a babysitters, so when all is said and done I usually have about 63 who ride every day...and the scary part..LOL they all sit behind me!!!!

I'm a teller supervisor in a very tiny branch of a fairly good sized bank. As such, I get to work as a teller, supervisor, and personal banker, depending on what the immediate need happens to be. I'm still in training for it all, but it's not a bad job and I think I'm going to like it better once I'm more familiar with all my different hats.
My husband drives semi, hauling Ashley furniture about half the time, and a wide variety of other items.

I'm currently in college majoring in Communication Disorders. I graduate in May (yay!) and I'll be working as a Speech Pathology Assistant for 2 years (while hubby finishes his PT doctorate) and then I'll go to grad school to work on my Speech-Language Pathology M.S. Soo....it's a work in progress =) Oh, I sort of do work... I'm a "provider" for my grandparents (just on the weekends). Basically I just spend time with them and help them clean up and cook for them and stuff. It's pretty great cuz I get paid to spend time with 2 of the greatest people on earth
