I'm glad I have her here to protect me!!!
I swear that Maggie, my 1.5 year old yorkie, is a better protector than any human body guard could be LOL
she protects me from everything....the dog that chases his tail on the southwest airlines commercial, the plastic dress bag that is slowly falling off of the chair, the mass amount of helicopters that just flew over the house making very loud noises. I mean,..she stands ON TOP of me barking and going nuts...she is truly protecting me. She won't let anything get to her mommy. I just don't know how I would survive life without such extreme protection. That plastic bag might really hurt me!!!!!!!

It must be the name, my Maggie is like that too. My Mag is 5 yrs old, and Bailey is 3 yrs.
Bailey is the lover, Maggie is a Miss Toughie. Do I know you from YT? I named Maggie after the Rod Stewart song Maggie May!! How about you?

Marty and Maddie are my protectors as well, especially when someone knocks on the door or even if I accidentally bump something and it even remotely SOUNDS like someone is knocking on the door. What would I do without them?

How funny. It's good to know you're safe from any bad guys on the television screen. You can watch all the horror films you want.
Venus, my borzoi, is quite the opposite. Once when a door was being replaced in the kitchen, I let the worker guys in while V was lounging on the couch. There were a couple of workers, both with loud, deep voices and tools that made all kinds of strange noises. Venus lifted her head, but not her shoulders, listened for a second, and plopped her head back down. That was it. She didn't even lift her shoulders, much less get her lazy butt off the couch to go see what was going on in the other room. I guess they didn't sound like they were there to steal her couch. |

My Joey is the same way...he would protect me with his life and I love him for it. The girls are are bark, but would run and hide too. It's really comforting to know that when I'm home alone for the weekend or week, that if they hear something, they let me know.

This morning I was laughing at Max and Gracie Leigh. Max heard a noise and was watching the door, while GL must have heard something else because she was guarding the window.
I just love that they're so protective!

My Yahtzee reminds me of a bird dog. She'll bark three quick barks, then just stand there "pointing".
