Great news about Jim's face!!
I'm not sure if you guys know the details - but 18 months ago my husband was hit by a car and part of his jaw was shattered. He had to have bone grafts and the doctor's said he was lucky to be alive (I think God had more to do with it than luck)!
He developed a condition called trigeminal neuralgia, which is a shooting pain up the nerves of his face. Regular pain killers do not work on it, they have to use pretty high doses of anti-seizure meds - which makes him pretty lethargic. Finally getting to the good news - our prayers are being answered on this one!! His face has been pain free for 3 weeks and they are allowing him to finally cut down on the dose of the drugs. The doctor says that he may be entering a phase of remission. I am sooooo happy about this - it truly is an answer to prayer. |

Dobie, that is wonderful news!! That had to have horrible for your husband to do through and you also having to watch while your husband is in pain.
I don't remember a thread on this, but you can believe if I had known, I would have said prayer after prayer for him...and you. I will now, that he'll keep improving and life as you knew it will resume.

Dobie I didn't know either. I am sorry to hear that he was hit by a car and has been in so much pain. But the good news is that he is alive and on his way to being pain free. I will keep you both in my prayers and I hope that he continues on this path . Miracles do happen and God answers all prayers..
