Had a bad weekend !!!
Wow did my weekend stink! Was getting ready Sunday to visit my grandmother at the personal care home and my sister called me to tell me she passed, she was 92 years old and terminally ill with cancer, so this was for the best she was suffering. But i'm really going to miss my Na-Na....
Then i get a call from my husband that the doors we ordered from Lowes were 2 inches to big.. so in the middle of my Grandmother passing i had to run to Lowes and get the doors staighten out with a sleeping child in my arms... Then the guy insist on arguing with me - so i call my husband and put him on the phone.. it was just a nightmare.... Today is not any better, Micah's one ear is red so i called the doctor and i have to run him after work to get his ears checked. Then tomorrow after work run to Lowes and take the doors back.. Then i have to find out when the funeral is, there making arrangements today.. Love you Na-Na.....

No body loves me today, so i'll just talk to myself ! I got Micah's doctor appointment set up for today at 5:00 pm for his ears.
My Grandmother's funeral arrangements are all made, it's Tuesday night, Wednesday, and Thursday morning, all the grandkids will be pitching in the money for the food. So i thought that was nice instead of getting flowers helping with the food... My dad liked the idea too.. I called some of my cousin's to let them know that grandma passed, My Grandmother has a huge family so many... so i'm trying to help out the best i can from work...

Haley, so sorry you are going through this. It is so hard to say goodbye to those we love and cherish!! Hope all goes well with your family through this. Also hoping that Micah's ear problem clears up quickly!! Don't know where everyone else is today, but I know that they care about you and will join us shortly. Hugs to you!!

Aww Thanks Marilyn, i was just talking to myself here, it was just a crazy weekend. But i'm glad my Na-Na did pass, she's been suffering with pain for a month now due to her cancer, Im at peace now knowing that she's with God and pain free. Bless her, she was 92. Lived a long happy life knowing her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she was very blessed.
As for Micah i just hope to God he don't have an ear infection, cause i wanted to take him to the funeral, cause i know alot of my family is from out of town and some of them never got to see him yet. i'll let you know tomorrow, were going to the doctors' at 5:00 tonight.

So sorry Haley!!! I know my step-dad had suffered many years before he passed away in June. It was best for him but it still hurts to let go.

Haley, I know you miss your grandmother greatly and your other grandmother as well. Realize how truly blessed you are to have gotten to know them. Wow. Many of us don't have that opportunity. I had 4 grandparents when I was born. By the time I was two years old I only had one grandmother and she passed away when I was 13. My father passed away in 1995, and my mother in 2000. My MIL and FIL both passed away in 2003. Our daughters are 21 & 22, so they never got to know their great grandparents at all. Their grandparents were all gone before they were out of high school. Actually their last grandparent died the very day our oldest daughter graduated from high school. There will be no grandparents at their weddings. I only wish my mother could be here to share this time with them. You are so truly blessed to get to know your grandparents. Cherish those memories and make wonderful ones with your children and grandchildren.

thanks ladies, she looked so peaceful at the funeral, they had a beautiful pink dress on her, she looked lovely. The funeral ended nice, we all went to Hoss's for the wake and i saw alot of my relitives that i haven't seen for awhile, most of them didn't even know i had a child They loved Micah. I feel at peace now knowing she's with God and reunited with her Husband and brothers and sisters.

I'm glad you felt good when you went to her funeral. I'm sure she is pleased too, and is at peace with God and her family.
