Silly Excitement
Just thought I'd pass on my silly excitement. My youngest daughter who is 15.
Took Poultry in 4-H. So we went out and bought baby chicks and raised them. They were hatched April 30th. Took them to fair as pullets. She got a blue ribbon. We have 4 Rhoad Island Reds. They are so much fun. Any how. She went out to feed them this morning and came running back in. Mom one of them laid it's first egg. I being the farm girl did a happy dance. My daughter was ready to have me committed. I told her I was going to take pictures and that Iwas going to take the egg to work for show and tell. Needless to say I didn't but i sure did get a rise out of her. It just made me feel so good. That we raised something and are going to get to eat the profits so to speak. I make homemade noodles and sell them to the girls at work. So this will be alot of fun. Thanks for reading.
