Has anyone seen pictures of this thing? It really is kinda crazy looking. At first some claimed it was a raccoon and then some say it is a dog.. I haven't figured it out yet. It sure is freaky looking tho.

I know, I saw the pictures of that thing. I hope they can figure out what it is. On the news or whatever it was that I saw it on, said that it couldn't be a dog because of the 'beak like' snout. I wonder if they know or will figure out what it is?

It's hard to say what it is. I looked at the pictures and whatever it is has lost all of it's fur and has started to decompose. Also, it's somewhat bloated making it hard to determine from the pictures what it is. It could very well be a raccoon like has been determined. I could tell you more if I could actually see it. I used to have a pet raccoon and their hands are easy to tell but I can't see the hands very well.

But the nose is kinda of like a beak, reminds me of a turtle face, but I don't think the turtle shells can come of like a sweatshirt...LOL.

I don't think that it's nose is a beak. I think that it's nose has deterioriated off and you are looking at the skull.

Check out the teeth in this picture against your picture. Also look at the slope on the nose of the skull.

I still have no idea....I really don't think it's a raccoon though, do you really? The snout just doesn't seem narrow enough or something. I guess this is just one of three that have been found..one looks a little like a pigs snout, but it's not.

What is this thing? I must have missed something. Whatever Janet posted, I do see how Diana could be right about the racoon. Decomposition causes things to change so that appearances can be very deceiving. I missed this in the news, or it's a regional thing or something. What does the rest of it look like?
