potty time for Micah !!!
i'm so excited Micah went on the potty yesterday, oh what a big step for my boy!
i was getting him ready for daycare, and he pointed to the potty and said pee mom, so i took his diaper off and sat him down and he peed... i was so excited we clapped and hugged. He didn't go yesterday, daycare tried a couple times as i did when we got home last night, but again this morning he went .. so i'll keep trying every 2 hours with him.. i have to get him training pants for when were at home and try them out. i don't want to get the training diapers my sister said they just pro-long potty training. because the child don't feel that he is wet when he pees in his pants. Anyone have any potty training ideas for me? i can sure use some advice here.

There is a really neat video you can get at the library, one for girls and the other for boys. It's so cute but teaches the little ones about going to the potty. Can't remember the name, but I'm sure any librarian would know about it.

I know that you're probably not working on standing up while going yet but my DIL used to throw a Cheerio in the toilet and Elijah got to pee on it. Of course, I'm sure that he got a piece of candy after he went. I thought that it was a cute idea.
To make sure that he's ready it's recommended that he is able to take a nap and wake up dry. That was the rule that I always went by. My Grandmother always swore by the signs of the moon and I know that in bottle breaking and potty training it worked for me but I don't know how to tell you what the right sign is. Good Luck!!!

We used that video for Brandon and the girl's version for Mackenzie and Kassidy. It is just adorable. I haven't heard about Potty Power. I like the cheerio idea!
