I'll be staying with my mom
I'll be staying over with my mom this week while my daughter and family escape to the Great Wolf Lodge in Dallas for a few days. I know my daughter needs a break as she has been primary caregiver for my mom as she recovers from her knee surgery. She's doing well so it's time for them to GET OUTA DODGE! http://www.greatwolf.com/grapevine/explore/activities It has an indoor water park so the kids should have a ball! My 12 year old g-daughter is taking a friend with her so they are sure to have loads of fun! There is also a kiddie water park for the 2 year old. I know they all will have a great time!
I'll actually be running back and forth between my house and mom's house. I'll have to be sure Gary is OK, and make sure he has something to fix himself to eat. He doesn't cook, so I have to have leftovers or sandwich stuff for him to fix or heat. I don't have to stay with mom 24/7, she is fine by herself for a few hours - thankfully! I'll have internet access over there, so you won't miss me

I'm sure that your daughter will appreciate the time off to do something fun with her family. My kids have stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge at Kansas City. They had a blast there.
I'm glad that you don't have to stay with your Mom all the time because I know that you've been worried about Gary. You're a good daughter and wife!! It's good that you'll have computer access!!!

Gayle its nice that your daughter got a reprieve. The family will have fun, like Diana said your a good wife and daughter... How far does your mom live from you ? Enjoy your visit with her. I am sure she is happy to have you.

You're going to be a little on the busy side aren't you? How far from your house to your Moms? Hope it's not too far. I've seen the Wolf Lodge advertised on TV, but don't know of any real close. I hope your daughter and her family get a well deserved rest.

she only lives about 10 miles from me. It's pretty convenient. Ican just get up in the mornings & run by the house to get ready for school. So I only had to bring over my pj's & pillow. It's very nice to not have to pack a bag.

We had a nice evening together. We ate pinto beans and cornbread and watermelon for dessert. Then we watch a women's professional basketball game on ESPN2. We visited and had a nice evening together.
