My Wedding Band
So you all know I got married recently, civilly.
Let me all tell you about it since some of you are just dying to know! lol well sadly, it was SO spontaneous, that we have NO pictures at all, it was just me and my husband it was at a cute wedding chapel setting.. the lady who owns the place also is the one who conducts the weddings and does all the paper work, i think she's call the officiant.. anywho she has a couple of bouquets you get to hold while you walk down the aisle.. lol it was so cute! i actually got to walk down the aisle, and there was wedding music too! lol.. the lady had quite an accent.. and well it's pretty funny how she pronounced my boyfriend's last name.. and i guess he was SO nervous that he was copying her accent too when we were exchanging vows LOL.. i just about peed in my pants LOL gosh it was sooo funny! but nonetheless fun! i cannot believe im actually married now! since we've been together for so long.. im glad we got married and i took a picture of my ring.. i wanted a wedding band with diamonds, so this is what we could afford.. hee hee! its not like super fantastic.. but its the world to me |

aww. its cute... its not always all about the ring... as long as you love each other ... heck I doubt if you would notice if you lived in a cardboard box... lol

Congratulations!! My husband and I did the same thing, we went to the city hall. It wasn't the "dream wedding" we wanted but the marriage is the most important thing. Our wedding rings are far from fancy since we couldn't really afford anything extravagant but the symbolism behind the ring is what is most important. I would rather have a simple ring and a wonderful, loving, marriage than have platinum and diamonds and have a marriage based on lies and deceit.

Congrats again on your recent wedding - very happy for you both!!! And the ring is beautiful and as others have said, it's not the ring that makes a marriage - it's the daily commitment to each other
