So.......What are your

plans for the weekend?

We had a really busy weekend last weekend, with Homecoming and then on Sunday we had a going-away dinner after church for some special friends that were moving. Next weekend we have a Rough-N-Rugged night for the women from church here at my house (we've going to ride 4-wheelers and do target shooting with a hot dog roast!) So I think that this weekend is just going to a nice quiet one at home to get rested up for the weeks ahead.

Later this month we have a Chi Alpha group and a youth group or two coming out for hayrack rides and hot dog roasts. Chi Alpha has about 50-70 college students that come (from Wichita) and spend the whole day. They rent porta-potties so I don't have to worry about having everyone coming in the house to use the bathroom. It's always a lot of fun having them.

I will probably come in to work a couple hours in the morning, youngest has a fall baseball game tomorrow afternoon, and halloween carnival to attend after that. Other than that, no big plans for the week-end.

I'll be going to see my boyfriend for the last time until November But he'll also be moving all weekend to a new house so I'll be spending the days at my grandma's house visiting and studying for two midterms next week. I just found out yesterday right before one of my midterms that my grandma was in an accident the day before! I was so worried, but it turns out she's okay but her car is totalled. But it'll be good to go there and make sure she's okay!
My next couple of weekends will be quiet I hope, other than a whole lotta homework!

I have to take the pup to the vet tomorrow morning for a follow-up (last week they found like 4 things wrong with him), then we're driving up to Phoenix for a car show that my boyfriend's car is in. I'm hoping we'll drive back that night. Then Sunday we're going to go out in the desert and shoot random targets, then after that we're going to go look at hot tubs. Wow, didn't realize my weekend was so busy!

I know what I was wanting to do this weekend, that was get the guys busy around here getting things done before it gets way too cold. I'll still give them the list, but with this head cold, unless I feel a lot better, I'll be staying in. I'll try to get things done in the house while they're busy outside.

We really don't have anything planned except go and see my dad one day. He lives about and hour away and I only see him like once a month.

Well, tonight we have a bowling league. Me and hubby and two other friends are on a team together. Right now we're in 3rd. out of 12 teams. Not too shabby.

Well 2morrow is my 23rd birthday so 2nite hubby is cooking my FAVORITE dinner for me....filet mignon, twice baked potatos, green bean casserole.....and 2morrow I'm giving the yorkies a bath and getting my car detailed as one of my birthday presents. Then 2morrow night we're having some friends over to watch the Auburn/Florida football game and we'll have drinks and appetizers. THEN on Sunday, we'll probably go to church but then I'm gonna lay on the couch ALL day and watch E!.

I finished my first week of training for my new job on Friday afternoon and drove 109 miles home that evening.
On Saturday I worked 3.5 hrs, then ran some errands. Saturday night we just chilled at home and did laundry and such.

Today I have been packing to go back to training. I leave this afternoon for the 2nd week. So off to the Comfort Suites I go in a few hours for the next 4 nights.

I was able to convince my manager that I need time to absorb and practice what I've been learning in training. He released me from the 3rd week of training since it is actually beyond what my job description calls for me to do at the bank anyway. I was afraid that with no time in between to practice these things I would forget much of what I need to know. Luckily he was agreeable.
