Miss SassyKassy
I posted about going to church hear my two youngest grandchildren speak in church, and to be there for their first confessions. My little Kassidy, who is 7 1/2, is going to have her communion in June.
I came home and got all busy looking online for a beautiful communion dress for Kassidy. What fun! I found the ruffliest, most sequined, stitched and all around glitzy dresses, and was telling Jessie about them on the phone. Well, little Miss Sassy comes into the kitchen after Jessie and I hung up, hands on her little hips, wanting to know why Jessie and I are picking out her dress!!! It's her communion, and she wants to pick her own dress! She doesn't understand that if Grandma picks it out, grandma pays for it! She is too young to get that. Jessie sat down with her, and they made a list of all of the things Kassidy wants to wear that day..dress, gloves, handbag, shoes with sparkles on them, etc., etc. She will need to go to the beauty parlor, and have a manicure too! I do not like when they grow up! I was having so much fun looking for a princess dress for her! Maybe I can get her to sit down with me and we can look together online.

Looking at the dresses with her would be nice. You can show the dress that you liked and maybe she'll like it best!!! Have fun!!!!

That's a great idea Judy! You and Kassidy pick out the dress together I bet she'll love the dresses you have picked out! She sounds soooo much like my 8 yr old granddaughter Morgan! The glitzier (sp?) the better for her! Ooooh I can just see that little hand on her hip Have fun!!!

They called her "TT", short for "Temper Tantrum," when she was a baby. She is a real spitfire. It's really a good thing she toned down. They were just overwhelmed at times by her fierce little personality!
I adore her, but I'm her Grandma! I still see that strong-willed side of her, but I let her calm herself down when she gets upset. There are times though when she and I look at each other, and I can see how tough she is. I just love it because I'm tough too, and she knows it. She always backs down when I give her that look. I wonder who they inherited that trait from?

I love reading how much you love your grandkids Judy. I bet they all got that trait from you for sure....you're a spit fire too!!! LOL I bet they are as comical as you too. You have such good taste, I'm sure once you show her the dress, she'll love it. Maybe you all should start calling her 'LJ' for "little Judy".
