I'm going to be gone......
I've had a really tough week. I can't talk about it yet without crying but it's been bad. I've decided to go and visit my Aunt Marva for the weekend. It's funny because she could tell something was wrong just by my message on her phone!! And I thought that I sounded ok!! I'm going to have a talk with her and we'll go out and have some fun. Jaci's wedding shower is on Saturday and I won't be there so that will tell you how bad things have been. I know......bad mom but I've found out that I'm not going to make Mother of the Year anyway. I'll be leaving in the morning and will probably be home on Sunday night......we'll see.

Oh Diana, I'm so very sorry. I know that emotional hurt can far worse than physical pain. I hope everything can be worked out. Let us know when you get back.

Oh Diana..I am so sorry for what you are going through. We are here for you!! I don't know what is going on but I am going to say a lil prayer for you. You are a wonderful person and a great Mom and Grandma!

I didn't go. My son came over last night and talked to me so I ended up staying home. Some hurtful things were said this week so I feel kinda' beat up right now. I've always tried to be a really good mom but it's funny that my kids don't see that. I keep trying to figure out exactly what I've done wrong but just can't figure it out.........I just have that kicked in the gut feeling.

Ohhh Diana i am so sorry for you and hope things get better. It is awful when our kids fight against us - why cant they realise we are only trying to look out for them, and try and stop them making mistakes......?????
Sometimes they dont realise how much we hurt over things said and done. I dont know what has happened, but just wanted to say you are not on your own, any time you want to talk i am here. My daughter is 24 and we too have difficulties at times, it is so hard when your children are older... much easier when they are young and in our control and do as we say. I am sure you will all get over whatever has happened, why cant life be sweet? Keep yourself positive, and stop feeling bad, i am sure you are a good mum....

Diana....words hurt so much more than physical pain and seem to last so much longer. In your heart of hearts, you know you're a good Mother. None of us are perfect, we try our best, but ultimately, when our children are adults, it's their choice on how to behave and how to speak.
