Do you have any bad habits?

I started biting my nails...again. I bite the inside of my mouth. I crack my neck. And I'm ADDICTED to Blistex!!! I'm sure there are other things, but I can't think of them right now. What about you? Tell me I'm not the only stressed out insane person on here!

Oh my gosh! I am addicted to chapstick. Well, actually I've been trying to wean myself off chapstick by using Vasaline. But it hasn't worked. So I think I am just HAVE to have something on my lips at all times, no matter what it is. It can be chapstick, Vasaline, lipstick, lip gloss, ANYTHING, but I have to have SOMETHING!

I also bite the inside of my lip. Ugh...my dentist said I had better stop bc it can cause cancer.

I am also a TERRIBLE procrastinator. It is bad and it is something that I really need to work on before I start school again.

It really can cause cancer?!?! My mom tells me that, and I thought she was busting my chops!

I remember you telling me you were addicted to chapstix! I can't use that. It's too waxy! I have to have Blistex (medicated, tube kind) or else I have to go and buy it! I can last a little while with lip gloss or something if I'm desperate, but I prefer my trusty Blistex. How long have you been addicted to it? I've been using Blistex since about junior or senior year of high school!!! I'm almost 30 now!!

Well, not the brand Chapstick...I'm addicted to Burt's Beeswax. I've been addicted since sometime in high school when I had to use Accutane for my acne...one of the side effects is that it REALLY dries you lips out, so I started using Burt's Beeswax and have been using it ever since!

And yes, biting the inside of your lip can cause cancer. Repeated trauma to any part of your body will cause cancer. That is how you get skin cancer & lung cancer...repeated trauma from the sun or from smoking.

I honestly just have to make a conscious effort not to do it! Whenever I find myself doing it, I chew gum or something. It's hard, though. But it is just a nervous habit and I need to find something to replace it. You can do it, too!!!!!!!!!!!

Cracking my knuckles. I've been doing it since I was 8. Can't seem to stop. Oh, and smoking camel lights but hopefully during recovery from my surgery, I'll be quitting. Gonna be in the hospital a couple of days anyway so why go back?

Great idea!!! Buy yourself some patches or something before you go, so it'll help give you comfort once you're released. Good luck to you!!

Ok here's mine

Trying to fix things myself instead of praying about them and asking God to help me...

staying up too late at night. (I am a night owl but I can be cranky in the morning!!!)

I wait to long to go to the DR when I am sick or have something wrong.

I'm very bad with paper work... I have trouble organiZing it and decideing what is important and what to throw away. (My husband owns a buisness and we how alot of paper work! Thank GOD I'm not in charge of it!)

Giving advise when my kids just want to TALK!

I talk to much... Sometimes it's good sometimes it's bad!

I am very hard on myself...

When I was growing up, I bit my nails and inside my cheek, but out grew that, thankfully.

I still crack my nuckles. Have done that since elementary school. My hubby has given up saying anything. He finally accepted that this is just what I do.

I put off going through the mail and paying the bills. It's not because I don't have the money to pay the bills, I just hate going through all the junk mail, shredding the credit card offers, to find the things that really need attention. I think I have to be in the right mood, a real cleaning mood to tackle it. I would hate to be a mail carrier knowing that most of what I deliver is trash!!
