Paypal?

If I have a paypal account to I have to do anything special to be able to accept money into it. I know how to send money out, but I don't know how to receive money. I'm getting ready to list a bunch of things for sale that my puppy has outgrown & a couple carriers & what not, & I want people to be able to use paypal to pay me. Can anyone help?

How long ago did you register for PayPal? Do you remember that there were 3 different types of Paypal accounts you could have? The basic was just to send money from a checking account but not receive money, the second level was to send money from checking account or credit card but not receive money and the third account type was send money AND also receive money. If you don't have the specific account type that you have to have to receive the money, then you can't receive money. I am pretty sure ALL of the account types are free. I am sure if you went to Paypal.com you could change your account type or sign up for the type required to receive money.

Can't wait to see the things that you are selling!!!!!!!! EXCITING!

I am so anxious to see what you're selling!!! I just bought some things off Kathryn V from YT and I love them. I did by the black carrier and it's too small for my Joey. It's beautiful and I love it...I just can't use it. It would fit a size 2-3 lb baby, but Joey is 3 lbs 8 ozs. Just a little too big, but not bad. I may put it here later on.

Let us know when you're going to post them, I usually get in on the last and everything is already gone!

Maybe I'll post it over here first, & what I don't sell I'll then post on YT. How's that sound.

When you get ready to sell on e-Bay, go to PayPal and there's a way that you can have them automatically insert the PayPal logo and it will include the button that you click on to make a payment.

Did you know that to accept payments with PayPal that you are charged a fee if they pay with a credit card? That's why a lot of people don't accept credit cards with PayPal.

I love PayPal when I'm buying and selling. I don't have to worry about a check getting lost in the mail or being late getting where it's suppose to go. I don't have to worry about holding a check to make sure it clears. The item can be sent right away (I've had people forget to send my item when I've paid with a check). Just make sure you read about all the fees so you're not surprised.

To accept fees you have to become verified (it's not hard to do). Once you get the money into your PayPal account then you just click a button and have it sent to your account in your bank. Very easy!!

If you have any questions--just ask!

I do have a couple shirts that are small & xsmall (from when he was a puppy) the x-small is a really cute baseball jersey that I really loved on him. It's what he's wearing in my avatar on YT.

Do you think they would fit Joey? He's weighs 3 lb 8 ozs, but fluctuates up to 3 lbs 11 ozs. What d'ya think? How much were you asking for them? I love the one in your avatar.

Hiya!! I know that if you have a basic account, you can send and receive money (if the money is already in the Paypal account of your sender) for free. If you'd like to accept credit cards you have to change your status to a business account. Then a percentage ( I don't remember, but I think it's between 2-4%) gets taken out everytime you receive a payment, even if it's not a credit card. My mom used to have two accounts. She used to say: if you're paying with Paypal funds, use "this" email address. If paying by credit card use "this" one. That way she didn't get zapped with fees all the time. But, then she started to sell $1000+ on eBay a week, and that got too confusing. So now she just has one account. Good luck!!

I think it should fit him. Logan was that size as a puppy. I think he was 4lbs at 11weeks, It has a lot of stretch to it. My husband & I are still working out prices. When I get ready to do this I will take pics, measurements, & work up pricing. Maybe you should take a road trip & bring your puppies up & try them on yourself & just take what you want. You can't be that far away from me. I'm about 2.5 hours straight north of indy.

Just checked the map....you are way up there aren't you? I would love to take a road trip if my guys would come with me...but they wouldn't for doggie stuff. I hate driving very far alone...I get worse with age..LOLOL You'd be able to have it all ready and posted long before I could find someone to make the trip with me. But thanks for the invite anyway, I would love to meet others from here and from YT.

No prob just thought I'd offer. I don't get back to purdue very often anymore. If i was still going down every weekend like I used to I could stop by your place, but now that i'm old & married & all my friends have graduated I just don't get down that way anymore.
