winter storm warning

It was 72 dgrees and sunny yesterday. A perfectly beautiful day!

Tomorrow it's supposed to be cold, windy, and we're warned we might have as much as 7 inches of snow!

That's what I get for living in Wisconsin.

Anyone else in the winter storm warning area?

No snow here, but we are suppose to go from like 68 degrees today to 48 degrees tomorrow and lots of rain from Saturday till the end of next week. Not continual rain, but a chance of rain everyday. Sucks!!! I would rather have rain than snow. Be careful driving on that stuff!!

We were in the 80's Thursday and today we're in the 50's. We have a slight chance of rain through the weekend and we could really use it. We're really low on rainfall this year so send all that unwanted snow our direction!! We'll take whatever we can get!!

We got 8" of snow at our house, which was a whole lot better than the 17" they got just 10 miles north of me!

Everything was a sloppy, slushy mess! People were getting stuck in the parking spots in front of the bank; on the HWY; and the Interstate was closed for most of the afternoon due to so many vehicles loosing control and ending up in the ditches and crashing into each other.

Schools were shut down early, and we saw a marked decrease in customers coming to the bank. With temps hovering around 32 degrees, SLUSH was everywhere. It's supposed to be in the 40s the next few days, so the snow won't be around long.

As one of my customers said "The snow was pretty, but we've seen it, so now it can go away until Christmas."

Well, it did cool down from the high 80's to the high 70's here. No snow in the picture yet, but we keep our fingers crossed around here. Every few years, we get a treat.

It's 37 degrees this morning!!!!!! We will all freeze!!!! But it's supposed to warm up to 75 this afternoon, so we may survive. We actually switched from AC to Heat yesterday. We'll probably be back to AC next week though.

If you don't like the weather one day, wait till tomorrow.

Marilyn....I thought for sure I'd freeze to death this morning. The cold just cuts right through me and that's why I hate it...plus, since the weather change, I've had a sinus infection that I can't get rid of...isn't it time to be summer again????

What is with the sinus thing this year, Kimberley. I have had the same problem. I take decongestants every day and put myself on antibiotics from Mexico because I was sure my sinuses were infected. This has been going on for about 3 weeks and it just won't stop. Never had it this bad before. I checked the mold and pollen count and they are not high. I thought it was mountain cedar of something. So frustrating!!!!!!!
