The latest on me...

Well, sorry that I haven't been on here much lately but so much has happened.

Remember the threads I posted about my daughter having problems at her public junior high school, well I got her put into a private school. Things were just escalating to the point that I felt something bad was going to happen.

My daughter has really gotten involved in church/school. I can't keep her away from that place! LOL. Actually, I've started going back to church as well. I've found a new peace within me that I haven't had in a long time.

My surgery is less than 2 weeks away...scheduled for 11/27...so I won't be online much after that...at least during recovery.

Thank you, Marilyn, for asking where I've been.

Son is doing great on his medication. He's done a 180 at school and his teacher has praises for him all of the time.

Hubby and I are doing wonderful and have reconnected again...I guess the good Lord is helping us out where he can.

Anyway, that's it on my end. I'm glad to see that this forum is going strong. Us women need to stick together...

Glad to have you back!!! I think we'll see you on here after your surgery. You'll get tired of daytime TV very quickly!!

It's wonderful that things are getting better for you and your family. Sounds like you are all getting it together.

You will be in my prayers!!

I am so happy that God has touched you where you needed it most. All we have to do is ask, pretty amazing.

Wishing you the best during and after the surgery. But hey girl!!!, you'd better check in here once in a while during your recovery period.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving and know you and your family are in my prayers...

Kimberley, I'm so glad that things are working out for your daughter. I don't know how people live without God in their lives.

Hey Kimberley! We've missed you so I am so happy that you gave us an update. I went to private school growing up. It was a good experience. I'm sure your daughter will love it.

That is so awesome that you have found peace within yourself and peace from God. The Lord truly works in amazing ways. He loves each and every one of us more than we could possibly comprehend. It's a wonderful feeling.

I am also glad to hear how well your son is doing! That is fantastic news!

Best of luck with your surgery! You'll have to rest a lot...maybe you'll be bored and want to come chat a little while you're recovering!!!!!!

Please don't forget about us! And keep us updated on how your surgery goes! (((((((hugs!))))))))

Kimberly,

Thanks for the update on your wonderful family I have also been away from this forum (and YT) for the past few weeks (all work related) so have missed a lot.

I'm so happy your daughter is enjoying her new school!!! School is a lot more fun (if school can ever BE fun) when a child is happy with the environment they are studying in. I'm so glad that the incidents that happened at the other school have not totally crushed her spirit and personality - and it's alive and well at the new one

As for your son, I'm so glad to read the medicine is helping him! What did his doctor put him on? My oldest takes Concerta and is doing great on it!!! Keep looking for the good reports - his teacher will keep giving them to you

One week to go before your surgery. I will have you in my thoughts and prayers next week. I know you won't feel like getting online but - as soon as you can (or as soon as you can let someone know), please let us know that you are okay. And I'm really glad you and your husband are reconnecting - you'll need him and his love and strength during your surgery and recovery.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Suzi
